I’ll have what she’s making

You know when you’re scrolling through Instagram and you come across an image of something that is so unique, that you need to know the story behind it? That’s how I felt when I found these three brands. All unique in flavour, and designed by incredible young women who are going for their dreams.

Lost in Paradise Jean Jacket by Rachel Urquhart

Rachel Urquhart - raychponygold - jean jacket

I have a thing for denim. Denim on denim. Denim around denim. I don’t know what it is, but when I wear it, I feel me. I’ve recently become mesmerized by all things artist, writer and Volcom Ambassador, Rachel Urquhart, and this denim jacket is at the top of this list. Can you imagine all of the cool adventures you could wear this to?! Shell ya.

Postcard Swimwear

postcard swimwear - floral bikini

What I love most about Postcard, aside from the fact that their founder is a rad young gal who travels the world and follows her dreams, is that they bring the design back to you. Literally! You’re the designer, the artist, the photographer and the dreamer behind your own swimsuit. Soon you will be able to take your own photos and designs and create custom made swimwear. I love this collaboration they did with artist Cass Deller! Stay tuned for a Rad Livin’ feature with founder Ash Cam.

Mahiya Gypsy Wanderer Bag

Mahia Leather - hot pink leather bag

If you’ve ever seen my nails (I know that sounded funny when I typed it too), you know that I love them to be colorful, usually hot pink. Rain or shine, winter or summer, I like to feel as though it’s summer all year round. Aussie label, Mahiya, embodies this same attitude: “It’s for fashion lovers who live for long summer days, fairy floss skies, midnight dancing, salty hair and sandy feet – the true bohemian style.” Mahiya is filled with handmade bohemian treasures made with love (their name even means “my love”!) and was created by founder Alex Longstaff. You’re killing it girl, we love your stuff!
